Who will win the 2026 World Cup?

This question occupies millions of fans worldwide. While experts, bookmakers, and former professionals make their predictions, a new Austrian web AI takes a completely different approach: data-based probability analyses in real-time.

With the platform WM2026 Oracle an online tool is now available that analyses all matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and continuously generates updated result and tournament predictions. The aim is to identify for each match those results that statistically have the highest probability of occurring.

Unlike traditional prediction games, the system does not rely on gut feeling or fan bias. The AI processes numerous influencing factors simultaneously – including current team form, historical encounters, squad strength, tournament progress, goal statistics, and other performance-relevant data points. This results in predictions for individual matches as well as for the entire tournament bracket.

Digital oracle for the biggest World Cup of all time

The 2026 World Cup will be the largest in history, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches. Accordingly, possible tournament progressions and surprises will be complex. This is exactly where the new AI is expected to excel.

Visitors to the platform receive not only predictions for upcoming matches but also continuously updated assessments of which nations have the greatest chances of reaching the round of 16, quarter-finals, or semi-finals. Even the probability of a later world championship title is calculated and visualised.

The trend towards AI-supported sports predictions has been increasing for years. International analyses show that modern models can now take into account significantly more factors simultaneously than traditional expert evaluations. Nevertheless, football matches remain inherently difficult to predict – surprises are still part of the sport.

Technology from Austria

Behind the project is a development team from Austria that has been implementing digital platforms and data-driven web solutions for years. The technical implementation was developed in collaboration with specialists in modern web applications and artificial intelligence.

Whether the new AI will actually be remembered as the most accurate "World Cup oracle" of the tournament ultimately depends on the football pitch. However, for fans, statisticians, and betting enthusiasts, the platform already offers a fascinating insight into how modern algorithms analyse the most exciting minor matter in the world.

The prediction platform is available at wm2026.kombinat.at and continuously updates its predictions throughout the entire tournament.
